Last Fall the Christian Broadcasting Network ran this “news” clip during a 700 Club broadcast, taking a poke at my film, GrowthBusters: Hooked on Growth, that was premiering 2 days after the world passed the 7 billion population milestone.

Population Research Institute‘s Stephen Mosher must be on the payroll of some very big growth profiteers. I confess I’ve not done the research to see who funds his group. But he is prolific in his efforts to convince people we all need to be birthing more babies. Mosher warns if the Italians “don’t start reproducing, they’re gone!” It is telling he worries about “Too few people to buy homes and cars.” Maybe that’s a clue about who is funding PRI.

It would be more laughable than Stephen Colbert’s 8-Child Policy if not for the fact that Mosher is dead serious.
